Patio climber. This award winning rose was introduced in 1975 and still rates as one of the best Patio Climbers today. The pointed buds open to warm pink, exhibition quality blooms that carry a soft fragrance. Plenty of blooms throughout the season. Can be used as a tall shrub or small climber. 1975

The name of this rose commemorates a French-Canadian folk heroine of the 1920's.

Climber. An excellent climber with large, lightly scented, double flowers of soft golden yellow set against healthy, glossy, foliage. Top performing yellow climbers are few and far between, and this is one of the best. 2002.

Those that took part in the NZ Rose Review 2010 rate this climber highly. It performed well in BOP, Waikato and Canterbury.

Floribunda. A healthy rose with clusters of clear warm pink flowers borne in profusion throughout the season. Produced to commemorate the anniversary of the New Zealand suffragette movement. Very healthy upright bush.

Kate Sheppard was released in 1993 to mark the centenary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.

Hybrid Tea. Both the name and the rose flower are a wonderful greeting. With the translation of be healthy or have life this rose must have good disease resistance. The soft, salmon pink, coral blooms. These long lasting flowers are great for cutting and have a light fragrance.

aka Queen of Denmark

Alba. Named after the 'Queen of Denmark', this summer flowering Alba rose has very fragrant, double, quartered, mid pink flowers with a button eye. The flowers appear in plentiful clusters arching the branches with their weight. The foliage is a grey-green and quite coarse. 1826.

Floribunda. An abundance of luscious red rose buds that open to reveal pink centers will delight from summer to autumn. Great for cutting. Bred by Rob Somerfield, this medium sized rose displays high disease resistance. Gold star winner of the South Pacific trial grounds (2018).

Climber - Noisette. Large, white, double, flat and quartered blooms appear en masse on almost thorn-less stems. A very fragrant rose that has become one of the rose world's favourite white climbers. A vigorous grower that repeats well from spring to summer. Just lovely. 1830.

Shrub. A truly lovely shrub rose that smothers itself in lavender to lilac-pink flowers all season. The flowers come in large trusses on arching disease resistant foliage and have a soft fragrance. Well behaved and easy to grow - great for mass planting. 1984.

Floribunda. A multi-award winning rose bred by Rob Somerfield of NZ that created a sensation at the NZ Rose of the Year trials. The glowing florescent cream blooms with lime tinges are distinctive and certainly make a statement. Good repeat flowering, fragrant and generally healthy.
