Heritage Apple with large, russeted, yellow fruit blushed red. Very popular for cooking as it has a great tangy flavour but also can be eaten fresh. Considered one of the best apples for making sauce. Ripens towards the end of autumn. Malus Crabapples are good pollinators for this apple. Triploid.
