Heritage Apple. Originating from Canada in 1906 this apple has very large fruit that are pale yellow blushed bright red with just a little russeting. The flesh is crisp and tangy but gets sweeter with storage. Fabulous cooking apple that 'froths' well when stewed. Ripe about March.
