Daltons Organic Bio-Fungicide Powder contains a natural 'good' fungus found in NZ soil called Trichoderma which is essential for plant health. Trichoderma attack 'bad' fungi that thrive in wet, poorly drained soils and feed on and destroy the roots of plants. Trichoderma continues to multiply once applied.

Sometimes you notice a plant in the garden that just isn't thriving. It may look droopy as if it needs a drink but you know it's been raining for a week so that can't be the case. You've tried feeding it and spraying it but without success. The answer could be under the soil with the roots of the plant being attacked by root rot AKA Phytophthora - a dose of 'Trichoflow' - repeated if necessary will often save a precious plant from near death. It can also be used as a preventative when potting up container plants.

Liquid Copper Hydroxide. An easy to use form of Copper that mixes well and won't clog your sprayer. Generally used to prevent diseases such as Downy Mildew and Blight. It is great for Citrus and if sprayed on new seedlings it will repel slugs and snails. Concentrated - will make 107 litres of spray.

Wally's Liquid Copper Hydroxide is considered organic however it is still a chemical and should be used with appropriate caution and not ingested. Compatible with most sprays but do not mix with Sulphur. Can be mixed with Neem Oil but is more effective on its own.

MBL or Magic Botanic Liquid is made from NZ's fossil coal and contains humates and fulvic acid. It is an all purpose tonic which promotes plant and soil health. It has a wide range of uses but is invaluable for getting new plants established and as a soil drench between crops in the vege garden.

I use MBL as a general growth booster for every new plant I put into the garden no matter if it is a seedling or a tree. Any established plants that look just a bit off colour get a watering can full with excellent results. With small vege patches where crop rotation is difficult a drench of MBL between crops assists with soil health.

As the granules break down the insecticide properties are taken up by the plants roots. Easy and economical.

Neem Granules naturally grow a little mould on top as they break down - just cover them with a bit of soil or potting mix if you find this unsightly. We recommend mixing a few Neem Granules in the soil whenever you are planting - especially good to use with new vegetable seedlings to act as a general preventative.
