This little Kurume Azalea becomes just a mass of peachy pink blooms in late winter early spring. A top performing plant with a tidy compact habit. Plant with protection from the afternoon sun in well drained, acid soil. Avoid Lime. Evergreen.

Glowing, ruby red, single blooms smother the glossy green foliage of this lovely Kurume Azalea in late winter early spring. The foliage has a reddish-purple tinge in winter. Happiest in a semi-shaded position. Avoid Lime. Evergreen.

Hornbeam. Ideal tree for hedging or pleaching. Attractive oval green ribbed foliage that has good autumn tones before turning brown. The leaves hold on the tree well into winter. Smooth grey bark, ornamental catkins in spring followed by ornamental winged seed 'nuts'. Deciduous.

aka Mexican Orange Blossom

A top rated performance plant for multiple planting, filling in a background or can be used as a low hedge. Glossy deep green leaves are offset by aromatic clusters of white flowers late winter through spring. Hardy and easy to grow in sun or light shade. Evergreen.

The name Mexican Orange Blossom describes the look of the white flowers rather than the perfume as the flowers of this useful shrub are aromatic rather than sweetly perfumed.

An interesting form of our native Coprosma with divaricating pale gold stems and fine foliage with bronzy gold tones. Excellent plant for difficult sites as it is very tough and hardy with the added bonus of being frost hardy. Would make a unique and easy care hedge. Evergreen.

With year round interest, this great little shrub has golden summer tones with splashes of lime green and orange which intensify in the winter. Excellent for small hedges, group plantings or for adding colour contrast. Plant in sun or part shade with protection from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Golden Star has been bred in New Zealand for our conditions and has been selected for its earth golden tones that will fit in any garden situation. Stays tidy and compact. As Autumn approaches the colours change to more Golden. Great to bring some colour other than green to any garden.

'Golden Star' will benefit from a hair cut every now and then. This is best done around about February on a warm dry day.
