An evergreen NZ native with distinctive small green leaves. The margins are finely and bluntly serrated. Young Spring growth is pale green against the silvery whittish trunk. A nice specimen to have amoungst a woodland garden. Will take sandy, loamy and heavy clay soils as long as well drained.

An evergreen NZ native that is extremely decorative with its glossy, dark green leaves that colour in Winter. A great forest tree in lowland dry areas with a dark sooty trunk. As it matures it develops into a slender tree. Wind hardier than other native beechs.

aka Tree daisy

The most floriferous of the olearias. In spring this shrub is smothered in large clusters of white daisy-like flowers. Known as 'Tree daisy' this is an evergreen NZ native shrub. It is medium growing and bushy with narrow, pointed, thin leathery dark green leaves. Flowers borne in large panicles.

Thrives well in windy conditions. Great for hedging, very clippable, or use in boarder or shrub garden.

A bushy native shrub that has attractive variegated wavy edged leaf. Excellent for hedging as this is very bushy clipable plant. Coastal or exposed sites are not a problem for this hardy easy care shrub.

This native Daisy is not the easiest of plants to grow but if you have just the right position it is well worth the effort. Large grey green, leathery leaves are highlighted in summer by crisp white daisy flower heads with a yellow centre. Must have a sunny spot with excellent drainage. Evergreen.

With long, wavy, blue-green leaf fronds this is a stuuning specimen to have in a hanging basket or pot/container in a sheltered position. Avoid draughts and loves to be mist sprayed on the foliage rather than watered. Can be used indoors and is an air-purifying plant.

A NZ native Flax cultivar that has a brilliant upright form and green leaves tinted in apricot. Easy to grow in just about any position you desire. However it will look its best with protection from harsh afternoon sun. Groom to keep tidy. Evergreen.

Native. This Flax is far more attractive than its name suggests. The arching swords of foliage are a very attractive smoky black shade with hints of moody blue. Prefers a sunny open position in soil that is not too wet. Feed regularly to maintain colour. Hardy, evergreen.
