Floribunda Std. Named after the classic English Rose - Diana Princess of Wales. This pretty rose has attractive pearly white blooms that smother the bush from summer through to autumn. Gentle fragrance, compact habit and nice, healthy, glossy foliage.

Hybrid Tea. It is trouble free, generous in bloom and beautiful. The shapely buds open to large, mid pink, graceful blooms that have a soft fragrance. 1954. This much admired and reliable rose is popular in the UK for hedging. Named to mark the accession to the throne in 1952 of Queen Elizabeth the II.

Patio rose Std. Bred in NZ this little rose has unusual blooms that are a blend of terracotta brown and apricot set against clean dark green foliage. As the pretty formation of petals opens the paler colour appears almost as a border around each petal. PVR.

Austin Std. Soft orange-red buds open to medium-sized, cupped rosettes of perfect apricot colouring. They are extremely robust and have a lovely fruity Tea scent. Very healthy; it matures into an attractive, rounded, bushy shrub with few thorns.

Hybrid Tea. This Romeo is described as healthy and strong, beautifully formed, with good weather resistance and a nice fragrance. Sounds like the man, oops, rose for me! The blooms are a passionate crimson red and produced continuously, an exceptional rose for picking. 1995.

The two roses crossed to produce this Romeo were Howard Morrison and Harmonie - A very apt "meet-cute" don't you think?

Damask. An ancient Rose that has an uncertain history but could possibly be from Iran. The dark pink-purple rosette shaped blooms are borne on slender stems in summer and have a strong fragrance. Responds well to hard pruning. To quote the Rosarian Peter Beales "well worth a place in any garden"

aka Gallica

Gallica. AKA Gallica An ancient rose (12th -17th Century) that is the stuff of myth and legend. It is hardy with few thorns and matt green foliage. The semi-double blooms are a very striking combination of crimson, pink and are pleasantly scented. Summer flowering. Deciduous

Hybrid Tea. This rose is beautiful in shape, unusual in colour and highly fragrant. The large double blooms are shaded a rich velvety purple-mauve. Dark green foliage and a vigorous growth habit with a generous amount of blooms throughout the season. Nice. 1989.

Rugosa. This highly fragrant rose has loose, semi-double, silky pink flowers produced in repeated flushes from spring to late summer. The blooms have a cluster of golden stamens in the centre. Dense dark green foliage and thorny, upright growth habit. 1926.

Shrub Std Weeping. If you want a vigorous easy care rose that flowers its head off then 'Seafoam' would be hard to overlook. Small double white flowers with a hint of creamy pink and a light fragrance appear in great quantity throughout the season. Glossy foliage. Multi award winner. 1964.
