Hybrid Tea. This rose looks most beautiful when fully open. Powerfully fragrant with perfect-creamy white blooms, exceptionally free flowering. Great rose for picking for vase display. We have this in our garden at Wairere and it never fails to please. 1990.

Hybrid Tea. A very striking rose with beautiful buds that open to fully double cream blooms that are outlined with a fine deep pink edge. Nice healthy growth habit and soft fragrance. Repeats in flushes throughout the season. 2002. PVR.

Hybrid Tea. An excellent rose with healthy, disease resistant foliage, seductively scented, long stemmed, deep purple blooms that are perfect to pick. Stunning addition to any garden and bred right here in NZ by Rob Somerfield. 1996. Multi Award Winner.

Rob Somerfield says this rose is "named after the liqueur 'Blackberry Nip' that many will remember from our past. I'm afraid my memory of it is not a great one - my fault as I somewhat over indulged, now days I would choose to drink in the scent of this beautiful rose rather than the liqueur!
