Climber Modern. Very popular climber with clusters of large, loosely formed ruffled flowers of deep golden yellow paling to cream. Foliage is dark green and glossy. Flowers continuously throughout the summer, tolerant of some shade and poor soil. Nice soft fragrance. Good disease resistance. 1957.

Climber Cluster Flowered. The almost fully double flowers of this climbing rose have good conformation and are shaded a silver-white with rose pink blushing around the outer edge of each petal. Overall a very pretty effect. Vigorous and healthy with dark bronzed-green foliage. Lightly scented. 1965.

Floribunda. A lovely dark red rose with semi-double, ruffled blooms produced in regular clusters. Nice glossy foliage and a sweet fresh perfume make this rose a lovely one to pick. Bred in Demark 1986 and named after the Danish writer of fairy stories. Shows good disease resistance.

Austin. A lovely medium yellow rose with pretty cupped blooms that have an excellent fragrance. Slightly arching growth habit. Repeats well. A lovely rose to celebrate a birth or special occasion in a child's life. 1993.

Hybrid Tea. A very beautiful rose that has been aptly named after a beautiful New Zealander. Frilly double blooms in shades of apricot cream and peach. Delightful perfume. A donation to UNICEF with every rose sold to assist with the education of girls in Ghana. 2006

Hybrid Tea. Hayward college has deep red old fashioned style blooms with extremely weather resistant petals that last on the bush or in a vase for weeks. The bush is medium high with a compact habit. It has dark matte foliage and any new growth is a dark red-purple. 2017 Rob Somerfield.
