Rated as one of the best and used for commercial picking. The massive panicles are single and coloured a rich, lilac-red in October, changing to a softer lilac in November. Highly fragrant. Plant in sun or part shade in deeply worked soil. Side dress with Lime annually. Deciduous.

Any pruning should be done immediately after flowering. AKA 'Glory of Horstenstein'.
