An erect shrub which develops and intense purplish colouring in late summer early autumn. The long slender purple stems bear yellow male flowers in late Winter/Spring. Suited to well drained soils in full sun. Prune to shape and size mid Spring. Evergreen.

A stunning new Leucadendron raised from Safari Sunset for winter colour, with erect habit and deep red bracts in Autumn that change to a bicolour stage in late Winter. Bract size is half that of its parent. Fantastic for picking. Must have good drainage and acid soil. Protect from harsh frost.

aka Leucadendron

A popular female cultivar valued for the showy rosette shaped bracts that decorate the shrub in late winter. The bracts are in tones reddish-cream and surround the small brown flower-head. Happiest in a well drained, sunny position in acid soil. Protect from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Do not be tempted to fertilize your Leucadendron with artificial fertilizers that have phosphate or high nitrogen as it will give them a fatal case of indigestion.

A selection from the king protea family. An attractive plant with an erect habit producing deep pink-red flower heads on long stems from Autumn to Summer. Excellent plant for floral use. Prefers an open sunny position in acid soil and free draining. Prune after flowering.Evergreen.
