Leucadendron laxum is a decorative member of the protea family, with yellow flower-heads in spring, that develop into a reddish cones on female plants in summer. Water well when planting. Evergreen

Avoid fertilisers but will respond well to compost or peat. Do not over water.

aka Pincushion Protea

An attractive plant when in flower showing off an unusual orange coloured pincushion flower that`s borne on long stems. Very striking in mid-late Spring. Ideal for coastal planting thats well drained acidic soil in full sun. Evergreen.

Prune well once flowering has finished to encourage good flowering the following year.

The most floriferous of the olearias. In spring this shrub is smothered in large clusters of white daisy-like flowers. Known as 'Tree daisy' this is an evergreen NZ native shrub. It is medium growing and bushy with narrow, pointed, thin leathery dark green leaves. Flowers borne in large panicles.

Thrives well in windy conditions. Great for hedging, very clippable, or use in boarder or shrub garden.
