Something a bit different in the Maple family. Attractive lime green bark is offset by the pretty soft yellow spring foliage that gradually turns lime green. In summer the foliage is fresh green and in autumn deep gold. Plant in sun or semi-shade with protection from harsh wind. Deciduous.

This Maple was discovered as a chance seedling in the Esveld Aceretum and is possibly a cross between A.shirasawanum and A.palmatum. It has received an Award of Merit.
