Erica bauera white is a hardy, adaptable, long lived shrub that looks stunning planted in groups. Flowers from spring till autumn with masses of waxy white tubular flowers displayed in clusters near the ends of it's branches. Likes acid soil. Evergreen.

Prune to maintain size and shape and to increase flower production.

Erica melanthera is a compact, bushy, shrub with bright green, small, needle-like leaves and purple/pink flowers that inundate the plant in autumn and winter. Prefers a sunny spot in the garden and well drained acid soil. Avoid Lime. Trim after flowering to maintain shape. Evergreen.

When all else is dormant, the Ericas come out to dazzle us.

An attractive little shrub with needles of green foliage topped off with interesting tubular flowers that are shaded white with green overtones. Flowers on and off for months mainly during the winter months. Plant in a sunny well drained spot, preferably in acid soil. Evergreen.

Ericas can be given a tidy up trim after flowering. Be mindful that they don't like a lot of fertilizer and they definitely don't like lime. Other than that, they are reasonably tough, hardy and easy care.
