Native. Hebe Sandra Joy is a bushy evergreen shrub with beautiful dark purple flowers that appear in summer and autumn. Grow in sun or part shade. Prefers well drained soil. Tolerant of dry sites.

This is a really striking Hebe worthy of a place in the Hollywood Series. The dark green foliage has deep maroon tips and this is complemented by the maroon red blooms that appear in summer. Plant in a sunny well drained spot for best results and prune after flowering. Evergreen.

Native. This lovely species Hebe forms a rounded bushy shrub with dark green glossy leaves. Large racemes of reddish-purple flowers appear on and off for most of the year. Grows happily in sun or part shade and is tolerant of coastal conditions but doesn't like harsh frost. Evergreen.

The term 'speciosa' is Latin for very showy so you know this Hebe is going to be well worth planting at your patch.

Also known as Hebe Speciosa Variegata. Native. Forms a compact bushy evergreen shrub. The glossy green leaves are edged with cream. Magenta coloured flowers appear in late spring and early summer. Plant in a sunny well drained spot. Evergreen.

Native. The natural habitat of this Hebe is the Manawatu district but it is happy in any garden situation where the drainage is good and the soil is not too heavy. Green long narrow leaves and elongated white flower spikes that appear in summer. Hardy and evergreen.
