Native. This lovely species Hebe forms a rounded bushy shrub with dark green glossy leaves. Large racemes of reddish-purple flowers appear on and off for most of the year. Grows happily in sun or part shade and is tolerant of coastal conditions but doesn't like harsh frost. Evergreen.

The term 'speciosa' is Latin for very showy so you know this Hebe is going to be well worth planting at your patch.

Also known as Hebe Speciosa Variegata. Native. Forms a compact bushy evergreen shrub. The glossy green leaves are edged with cream. Magenta coloured flowers appear in late spring and early summer. Plant in a sunny well drained spot. Evergreen.

Native. The natural habitat of this Hebe is the Manawatu district but it is happy in any garden situation where the drainage is good and the soil is not too heavy. Green long narrow leaves and elongated white flower spikes that appear in summer. Hardy and evergreen.

Native. A hybrid Hebe that has been selected for it's compact form and flower power. Masses of deep pink flowers cover the light green foliage through summer and autumn. Plant in a sunny well drained spot and trim after flowering. Evergreen.

A free flowering compact shrub which has been bred for New Zealand conditions by master plantsman Jack Hobbs. Super disease resistant and easy to grow with attractive green foliage and delicious purple flowers.

A lovely neat and tidy Hebe that always looks like it has just been clipped hence the common name of Topiarist's Hebe. The dainty grey-green leaves on short stems form a rounded compact mound. Use in groups or as an ideal contrast plant. Likes the sun and well drained soil. Hardy and evergreen.

Hebe Topiaria will occasionally flower in summer with little white flowers that are rather inconspicuous. Its value is as a foliage shrub and is highly enough thought of to have received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.

This native Hebe can be found growing naturally in Taranaki and around Westport. It has bright green leaves and racemes of pretty white flowers that appear in spring-summer. Very pretty and graceful. Easy to grow in well drained soil, sun or part shade. Evergreen.

This hebe has masses of Violet flowers in late Spring- Early Summer that will completely cover the foliage and then the plants repeat flower again in Autumn. Prefers a sunny position and free draining soil.

Fertilise annually with long term fertiliser and lightly prune as required.
