Winter Rose niger single. This is a lovely Hellebore that hails from the European Alps. Dark green glossy foliage that forms a mound topped off with stems of large white blooms that appear from late winter onward. The blooms are sometimes tinged with pink. Plant in semi-shade in well drained soil. Evergreen Perennial.

This was the first Hellebore I ever purchased many years ago and I still find it hard to resist today - it is really lovely in full flower at what is usually a dull time of year.

Winter Rose single. A beautiful single yellow Hellebore from the 'Clifton Homestead' collection that has soft primrose yellow blooms that have hints of green in the centre. Plant in semi-shade in well drained, humus rich soil. Cut off any old leaves looking tatty just before flowering. Perennial.

A soft-wooded, semi-evergreen upright shrub has small rounder green pads and red stems. Compact growth. It is much hardier, faster growing, more loosely branched, and has more limber tapering branches once established. Best in a warm, sunny , well drained position or in a pot. Drought tolerant.
