"Lucas" produces large thin shelled pecans. Nuts mature in May to June when they fall from the tree. The tree will bear pecans within 5 to 7 years. Self fertile but will do better when cross pollinated with Carya Hirschi. Plant in full sun, with moist well drained soil. Deciduous.
