Mulberry. This variety has been selected for its ability to produce good quantities of large fruit that ripen from late spring onwards. The whole tree is highly ornamental with a sturdy trunk and a large crown of glossy green heart shaped leaves. Easy to grow in the sun. Deciduous.

Mulberries are quite hardy but as their gorgeous foliage is quite large they will do better and keep their good looks if sheltered from harsh winds. Warning birds love the berries and will do their best to beat you to them when ripe - the berries will be a nice dark red, almost black tone when they are ready to pick.
