aka White Rose of York

Alba. An ancient rose AKA White Rose of York which can be traced back to the 15th century. The summer blooms are double, fragrant and creamy white followed by orange hips. Foliage is a pale grey-green. Always a pleasing sight when in full flower. Disease resistant and needs little pruning

Gypsum improves soil quality to achieve healthy, vibrant gardens and lawns. Breaks up clay, loosens hard and compacted soil. Improves soil drainage and enables penetration of air, water and nutrients to plant roots. Gypsum also adds calcium to the soil which is great for avocado's as they are acid soil lovers and therefore no lime can be used.

Avocados are litter feeders, with most of their ‘feeder’ roots in the top 10 cm of soil and in the natural organic mulch under the tree.
