Very fragrant and very beautiful soft pink flowers flushed with a deeper pink tone and highlighted with an orange flare. Easily grown in sun to part shade and acid soil. Prune, if required, after flowering in spring. 'Delicatissima' means "most charming" and indeed it is.

A bold landscaping plant with cream and green arching variegated leaves up to 1m long that form a large clump. In spring a flower spike with dark pink bracts rises above the the foliage. Can be grown in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Best protected from frost. Evergreen. PVR.

This variety of Beschorneria is considered to more cold hardy than others. It will probably tolerate a light frost but will do better in a warm well drained spot with protection from harsh conditions. Suitable for a container and would certainly look quite dramatic in one.

Bottlebrush - Pink. A very pretty shrub with candy-floss pink brush like flowers that appear from spring through to autumn. Birds, bees and butterflies love the flowers. Easy to grow in a sunny spot but needs protection from harsh frost. Trim lightly after flowering. Evergreen.

Bottlebrush. Discovered in Kings Park Perth Australia hence the name. Green foliage and a nice rounded habit. Simply smothers itself if bright crimson 'brushes' in spring-summer. Likes a sunny spot and protection from harsh frost. Evergreen.

aka Bottlebrush

Bottle Brush. A spreading low growing form of this popular Australian shrub. During the summer it smothers itself with bright red 'bottle brush' flowers that are tinged with gold. Loves hot dry areas and happy on the coast. Quite drought tolerant once established. Evergreen.

Members of the Callistemon family or 'Bottle Brush' as they are commonly known do not like too much fertilizer. The safest way to give them some nutrients is with a slow release product but remember in this case 'less is more'.

aka California Lilac

An attractive spreading evergreen shrub which features sparkling clusters of dark blue flowers in late spring. The shiny foliage turns a deeps ebony shade during winter, changing to dark chocolate-green during spring and summer. Quite hardy and tolerant of wind and cold. PVR 1334.

This is a very useful shrub for cascading over walls and banks. Benefits from a trim every now and then (after flowering) to encourage healthy new growth. Very striking in full flower.

Californian Lilac. Once Joyce gets settled in the garden she will spread herself around a bit as she grows wider than she is tall. Great plant for hot dry banks. Masses of bright blue blooms spring-summer. Likes the sun and good drainage and protection from harsh frost. Evergreen.

If you like blue then the Californian Lilac is the plant for you. Lovely glossy evergreen foliage and in spring profuse clusters of bright blue flowers put on a really dazzling show. Copes well with a hot dry position making this spreading shrub ideal for banks and walls. Appreciates a regular haircut.
