aka Fairy Bells

It is a spreading, rhizomatous perennial plant with lanceolate, gray-green leaves that are attractively striped and edged with white. In spring, small, greenish-white, bell-shaped flowers hang at the ends of the stem. Followed by bluish-black berries that ripen in the fall. They prefer semi-shade.
