Fountain Bamboo is eaten by the giant panda more than any other variety. Thin foliage hangs around the canes giving the appearance of a fountain. Canes become deep purple to black. On hot summer days the foliage rolls up for protection then as the sun moves on the foliage opens up. Perennial
