aka Mophead Hydrangea

Mophead. Has rounded flower heads up to 20cm across with cerise to purple-blue florets depending on the soil pH. Flowering early to late summer and change to an incredible wine-red colour during autumn. Plant as a specimen or in small groups. Likes moist but well-draining soil and partial shade is ideal.
