A very attractive foliage shrub with large creamy-yellow, tulip shaped, flower bracts that are at their best in winter. Loves a sunny well drained spot with protection from harsh frost. Prefers soil that is on the acid soil. Evergreen.

Avoid fertilisers but will respond well to compost or peat.
Suitable for warmer areas including Auckland/Northland
