A compact shrub with vibrant purple red foliage in late summer to autumn. Useful plant for foliage contrast in the garden or the vase. Suited to acidic free draining and coastal soils. Excellent addition to small gardens. Prune in late spring. Evergreen.

Avoid fertilisers but will respond well to compost or peat.
