An upright, open growing shrub or small tree notable for its attractive peeling russet bark. It has large textured leaves of reddish-purple when young. In November large flat clusters of 4-8 fragrant, funnel-shaped white flowers, flushed with pink outside and a prominent yellow throat. Very Attractive. Evergreen.
