A beautiful tree from North America which has reddish branchlets and buds and attractive clusters of small red flowers in spring followed by 'winged' seeds. The large palmate leaves are green in summer turning rich crimson red in autumn. Grows well in cool areas with rich moist soil. Deciduous.
