Commonly known as lemon-scented gum it has white to pink smooth bark with narrow, lance shaped leaves that curve as adult leaves. White flowers clusters that turn to barrel shaped fruit. Protect from frost when young.

Wood can be used for timber. Essential oil Citronella can be used in perfumery and insect repellents for mosquitoes.
Suitable for warmer areas including Auckland/Northland
