A gorgeous little weeping Maple with delicate, lacy, purple foliage on graceful pendulous branches. Use as a focal point either in the garden or a special container. Happiest in morning sun or semi-shade with protection from harsh wind. Delicious and deciduous.

This ancient cultivar from the 1800's is more tolerant of the sun than many thought we still recommend a sheltered position. The name refers to the cascading leaves.
