Chinese Redbud. A pretty deciduous tree with an open network of branches that are smothered in clusters of small, white blossoms in spring. Heart shaped, rich green leaves follow. Happiest in a sunny sheltered position in nice deep fertile soil. A compact grower. Estimated growth in 10 years.

Cercis will appreciate a little bit of Lime incorporated into the soil at planting time.
