An award winning Clematis that flowers in early spring. Beautiful large 'stars' of bloom in a soft mauve blue highlighted with white stamens. Nice silky seed heads follow the flowers. Loves its head in the sun and roots in deep cool well drained soil. RHS AGM. Deciduous.
