This Crabapple does have fruit after flowering - it is small and light yellow and rarely produced in noticeable quantities. It's all about the blossom which is truly beautiful.

Jack Humm rhymes with yum because this is just a beautiful highly ornamental tree that you won't regret planting. The single white blossom in spring is followed by large shiny red 'apples' that stand out on the bare branches right through winter. Luckily birds seldom eat the fruit.
