This native 'grass' is really tough and hardy tolerating cold winds and almost any soil. The brick-orange foliage looks very graceful as it waves and dances in the wind. Ideal for planting in large drifts. If the clumps become a little untidy just chop back hard for renewed vigour. Evergreen.

NZ Native. This form was discovered on cliffs near Hawera. It is a ground hugging native that forms a tight mat of small narrow olive green leaves. Excellent landscape plant for covering large areas of ground. Hardy, tolerant of cold and wind. Evergreen.

This striking evergreen plant has vivid red foliage with burgundy/chocolate brown markings. This makes an amazing contrast plant, stunning in pots, the garden and works well in mass plantings. A real head turner.

Pacific Sunset will benefit from a hair cut every now and then. This is best done around about February on a warm dry day.

This NZ native can reach over 60m when fully mature but that takes quite some time, our height is for 10 year growth. Juvenile trees have fine drooping bronze 'needles' which eventually change to a green, more a flattened leaf. Produces berries which are loved by birds. Evergreen.
