This is a lovely little shrub that smothers itself in tight clear pink buds that gradually open to pink flowers that have a hint of white. The flowers last for a very long time. Grow in morning sun or a dappled shade position in rich, moist, acid soil for best results. Hardy and evergreen.

Stunnung yellow clumping stems form to create an ideal bamboo for screening. Can be trimmed like a hedge to maintain height. Thrives in part shade but perfers full sun to bring the stunning colour of yellow canes with green stripes out. Non invasive, slow to clump.

A small, evergreen shrub with a natural rounded form with narrow green leaves and dark, crimson-red bottlebrush flowers that appear Spring through to late Autumn. Plant in full sun to light shade. Attractive medium shrub. The branches of fern like foliage are flattened and slender with pendulous tips. Clusters of fragrant white, veined purple flowers in summer. One of our most beautiful New Zealand native shrubs. Hardy and likes well drained soil. Tolerates dry, windy and cold conditions.

Bushy evergreen shrub with tiny oval deep green leaves. Small creamy white fragrant flowers in summer. Often used as a faster growing Box substitute. Ideal for topiary work and very effective for hedging. Fast growing and hardy.

If you want to quickly establish a nice compact low hedge then this is the plant for you. Lonicera needs a little more clipping than Box but it is very easy to maintain. When used for hedging or topiary then the flowers and fruit will be non existent.

A very attractive evergreen shrub from Australia. The fine foliage is a glossy deep green shade with new growth tinged bronze-red. Makes a very attractive hedge that responds well to clipping. White flowers in summer. Plant in a sunny well drained position and protect from harsh frost.

Syzgium (pronounced si-zig-eum) is quite frost tender when young - especially the tips of the leaves but it will get tougher as it matures.

This evergreen shrub from the Mediterranean loves hot dry spots and does well at the sea-side. Attractive tubular blue flowers are set amoungst aromatic silver grey leaves from spring to summer. Makes a fantastic low hedge and clips well. Happiest in light well drained soil.

The secret to your Teucrium hedge looking good is regular trimming however it is important that your last trim for the summer is done no later than mid March.
