Sticky Wattle. Usually a ground cover but presented here as a topiary standard transforming it into a beautiful designer plant. Fast growing with graceful weeping branches. Tolerates most soil conditions as long as its well drained. Fragrant pale yellow flowers. Evergreen.

Espalier. Born and bred in Motueka around 1952 'Braeburn' has become a firm favourite in the Kiwi orchard. Crisp, firm and juicy with yellowish green skin that is broadly striped with red. Sweet flavour balanced with a moderate tartness for just a little zing. Deciduous.

aka Heritage Apple

One of the finest apples ever grown. Greenish-yellow skin with orange-red striping. Rich, aromatic nutty flavour makes this older variety still hugely popular. Suitable for cooking or eating. Ripens towards March. Deciduous.

An outstanding upright cultivar of slow growing Buxus that is sure to standout in your garden. Used as a single specimen or to line a garden or driveway, they will make an impression. With dark green foliage it can be trained into a narrow column or cone. Requires minimal pruning.

Hybrid Std. A delightful little Camellia that is smothered with small deep lavender pink blooms that are semi-double. Golden stamens add to the overall effect. The new spring growth is an attractive bronze shade gradually maturing to green. Upright growth habit. What a gay little bush! Evergreen.

Hybrid Std. Simple but sweet single rose-pink blooms with prominent yellow stamens are borne in profusion along attractively arching branches. The blooms are very fragrant blooms and appear autumn to winter. Small rounded bright green leaves. Happiest in semi-shade with acid soil. Evergreen.

Species Std. Where would we be without the 'Tea Camellia'? Well we certainly wouldn't be putting the kettle on as often. Apart from giving us tea this is a delightful ornamental shrub. Dainty glossy green leaves and even daintier single, scented white flowers with just a blush of lemon. Evergreen.

Sasanqua Std. This cheerful little Camellia just smothers itself in bright red single flowers from winter through to spring. The flowers are offset with prominent gold stamens. Slow growing with a compact habit. Ideal for containers, hedging or brightening up a dull corner of the garden. Evergreen.

Std. An attractive evergreen shrub which features sparkling clusters of dark blue flowers in late spring. The shiny foliage turns a deeps ebony shade during winter, changing to dark chocolate-green during spring and summer. Quite hardy and tolerant of wind and cold. PVR 1334.

aka Japonica or Flowering Quince

A tough and hardy deciduous shrub with an arching network of bare branches that usually have thorns. In winter these are covered with clusters of tight buds that open out to double pink flowers. Nice complementary fresh green foliage. Very showy, good for floral art. Easy to grow.
