A highly ornamental compact tree. Its most striking feature is the display of bright red flower buds that reveal clusters of yellow stamens from Summer to Autumn followed by red fruit. The foliage is dark green and the bark is smooth and grey feeling off in long ribbons during Summer. Evergreen.
